310th Server is now ONLINE!

Tigger
Not that any of you will read this... but I was able to get 310th moved from my dev unit @ home to the server at Wildhare's house. How we can build and play the missions with the same system we have running for production. Yay.
For the other sqdn commanders (nad & stubbs) if you want to have your server operating, we need to get a server username/password for you.
Join Omega with a six-digit pilot code
2026-11-03 01:43:34 UTC · Omega Command
Your flights are already being recorded. Create your free Omega pilot profile to view your flight logbook, achievements and squadron information. You can get started with a short code from DCS or a Web Admin.
GET YOUR CODE IN DCS
1. Open the in-game radio menu and select F10 / Other, then Omega: Create / link web account beside your pilot name.
2. Alternatively, type -join in DCS chat. This also works while you are a spectator.
3. Your six-digit code arrives in private chat. Pilots flying alone also see it on screen; multicrew pilots should check their private chat.
ENTER YOUR CODE ON THE WEBSITE
1. Visit http://vfsomegagroup.com and select Join / Link Pilot, or go directly to http://vfsomegagroup.com/join.php. You can use your phone.
2. Enter all six digits, including any zero at the beginning.
3. Create an account with a username and password, or choose Sign in to link this pilot if you already have an Omega account.
4. Existing members confirm Link to my account. Your previous linked pilots and flight history stay with your account.
NEED A CODE FROM AN ADMIN?
Ask an Omega Web Admin. They can open Pilot invitations, select Generate code beside your pilot name, and give you the code. You must have joined an Omega DCS server so your pilot identity is available.
CODES AND YOUR PROFILE
Codes last 15 minutes and work once. Keep your code private. Use F10 or -join to show your current in-game code again. If it has expired, request a new one; a newly generated code replaces the previous unused code.
DCS confirms when your account is linked while your code request is still active. New accounts begin in Pilot Pool. You can request a squadron transfer from your profile when you are ready. Your earlier recorded flights follow your DCS identity into your profile.
Discord is optional for creating or linking your web account. Join us there when you would like to meet the pilots and find someone to fly with. Welcome to Omega!
Squadron Page

The squadron pages have been updated.
Squadron emblems have been added.
SQDN Cards improved, size changed, color wrapped.
FRESH START!
2026-10-31 21:46:44 UTC · Omega Command
All pilots will reset stats and finances as of today. We have worked the bugs out as much as we are going to work out to move forward.
Here's what this means...
We are all equal as of 10/31/26. The game begins today.
Accolades
2026-10-30 23:34:08 UTC · Omega Command
The awards/accolades are now displayed on the home page.
Both "All Time" and "This Month" are shown just below the group news cards. Hopefully this will help push the competitive pilots to push others.
Good luck everyone!
Training
2026-10-30 23:32:20 UTC ·
Tigger
We have introduced "Training Hours"
Purpose: To give accolades to those who are teaching others how to fly.
How it works:
If you are an instructor and have the aircraft assigned to you, in this example, the F/A-18C, you can fly with your student on the mission. Once the flight(s) are over, you can go to the training tab as the instructor, select your student and mark the time slots as training time. This will count towards the hours as a training instructor, and the hours for the student to get to the next rating.
If you have any issues with this, please let me know.

DCS Server Updates
2026-10-29 17:35:06 UTC · Omega Command
New "Update DCS" button has been created on the web gui to update DCS without connecting to the console. This will automatically close all DCS servers, update the DCS software, fix the permissions for MissionScripting.lua, restart the agent and the servers. For more information, view the help file on the admin page.
Mission Designing
2026-10-25 03:20:07 UTC · Omega Command
We have figured out how we can have our own private aircraft and prevent others from taking it. If you are a web member, the system will look at your DCS UCID and determine if it's you, and if so, will allow you to take the aircraft. This aircraft does not require insurance.
Please read the Mission Designers guide found here:
http://vfsomegagroup.com/missions/designer-guide.php
Have a nice day!
Website Adjustments
2026-10-22 16:43:14 UTC · Omega Command
Changed the button types on the website to ensure that everyone can see them. It was easy to overlook, but now it's obvious. Since I am color blind, if it's horrible, let me know and we can make some changes where required. Thanks!

Economy
2026-09-20 17:39:27 UTC · Omega Command
The economy system is being tested now. All aerial units that are not labeled with your callsign, are borrowed aircraft.
Therefore: When you get in it, you will be paying an insurance premium. You will receive the premium if the plane is landed safely back at base. If the plane is destroyed either before or on landing, the deductible will be owed, which is 20% of the purchase price.
If the balance is zero, you will be limited to two aircraft per day. This gives everyone a chance to earn the wings back without screwing the system.
If you have questions, please ask. If it doesn't work properly, let us know.
thanks!
Announcement Integrations
2026-09-20 02:26:51 UTC · Omega Command
Web announcements will also be displayed in Discord.
To prevent your app/phones from blowing up your notifications, I suggest perhaps setting that channel to not send you any. For help on that, use your favorite search engine.
Flight rule: land five minutes before restart
2026-09-20 01:07:40 UTC · Omega Command
All pilots must be on the ground at least five minutes before the scheduled mission restart. Plan your sortie and return flight so you can land before that deadline. Once the five-minute window begins, remain on the ground until the mission restarts.
Grade/Rank
2026-09-19 19:35:53 UTC ·
Tigger
Each squadron has their own grade/rank system. It can be chosen from a US military organization, and all of the pilots in that squadron will fall under that rank system. It is stored in the database as O1-O10.
ECONOMY!
2026-09-19 18:16:14 UTC ·
Tigger
The economy bits are almost complete.
Pilots will be responsible for the aircraft they are flying in, for training and production missions. Development missions will not keep economy in mind, as duh..
An entire page will be dedicated to how the finances work, what it means, and how to make the best of it..
Almost there!
Website Homepage
2026-09-17 19:25:18 UTC ·
Tigger
The website homepage now has News and Server status.
This will show the last three news articles, and the current status of any Omega server online (on this hardware) and the players, wins and loses.
As previously mentioned, the Omega Bits amounts are calculated by objects in the mission file. The more objects, the more the base will be.
Webmins and edit or ammend the news articles for all.
Sqdn Staff can only edit the ones they create
Website Improvements
2026-09-17 19:22:30 UTC ·
Tigger
Added a mission checking system to count all of the units on a map.. this will determine the base worth of the mission, not accounting for the respawns, that is the maximum level with a 15min repeating action. The maximum amount of Omega Bits will most likely never be achieved.
The Economy system is in place, but not turned on... we collectively (the Omega group command) will need to determine the costs and payouts for the munitions and targets.
Each mission can be uniquely configured for cost adjustments
Each SQDN CMDR/Staff can adjust percentages of payouts and bonuses for the mission on their own server. Only webmins and Omega leadership can change the public missions.
More to come later...

Our website is now coming together. There's a few quirks about it still, but it's coming along.
-- Added "News" function and web page so that if an announcement is created on the web gui, it gets relayed to #Announcements in Discord.
-- Added Server Messages from the Public server to the public Chat
